Product Description
This pump type involves placing the barrel in the well to the specified depth using tubing, followed by inserting the plunger into the barrel using a sucker rod. The tubing pump has a larger bore, resulting in a higher pump rate compared to the rod pump. Additionally, the rod pump can be categorized into three types based on seating mode: Stationary Heavy Wall, Cup Seating, and THM pump (Stationary Heavy Wall Mechanical Seating, Tubing Pump) and THD pump.

Tubing pumps function by attaching the pump barrel assembly directly to a tubing string, while the plunger assembly is connected to the sucker rod string and moves up and down in a reciprocating motion to assist in the production process. One significant advantage of tubing pumps is that, in case of any problems with the traveling valve or fixed valve, only the valve-side components such as the sucker rod, piston, and extractor need to be replaced. This eliminates the need to remove the entire pump and tubing string from the well, resulting in reduced labor intensity and operational costs.
